Oregon Economic Justice Roundtable Funders Workgroup
The Oregon Economic Justice Roundtable (OEJR) is a statewide shared table of funders and community organizations advancing collective and sustained action for economic and racial justice. Since our founding in 2020, we have asked, “What does it mean to work differently within economic and racial justice to achieve different outcomes?”. Our shared table creates relationships between funders and community organizations and prioritizes the voices of Tribal communities and communities of color. We co-create solutions for economic justice grounded in community and our co-created vision and equity principles.
The funders workgroup, co led by Maribel De Leon, Oregon Community Foundation and Annette Case, Asset Funders Network will provide a learning space for funders across the state interested in understanding, engaging in, and supporting the economic justice landscape broadly and the activities of OEJR specifically. We anticipate creating a supportive environment to learn from each other and to help address challenges within our work. We also expect to gain insights from the other workgroups and activities of OEJR that will help bring each organization’s and our collective efforts to scale. To learn more, please join us for our first convening of the funders on February 8.
