Yvette E. Ruiz serves as Executive Director of Corporate Responsibility at JPMorgan Chase. Primarily supporting the needs of low-income communities, Yvette’s work with community thought leaders and nonprofit organizations advances policies and programs that are key to driving inclusive economic growth and prosperity.

During her time at JPMC, Yvette has shaped the Firm’s commitment to building the capacity of nonprofits lead by people of color, supporting communities of color through a combination of direct programming and collaboration with local partners. Prior to her work at the Firm, Yvette managed a global community relations program at Austin-based NI.

Yvette serves our local community in a number of ways, including active board service with KLRU-PBS, Austin Education Foundation, Barton Springs Conservancy, RAISE Texas and the United Way of Greater Austin. Yvette also serves as co-chair for the Austin Community Foundation’s Hispanic Impact Fund.

Yvette was raised in the Rio Grande Valley and earned Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations with a minor in Business from the University of Texas at Austin. She spends her time enjoying all Austin has to offer with her husband, Ken Krumhansl and their two young children, Milo and Estella.
