Tina Corea is Vice President of National Initiatives at Citi Community Development, where she specializes in developing and implementing partnerships focused on inclusive economies across the country. Prior to joining Citi, Ms. Corea held a variety of roles at the City of Newark, New Jersey’s primary economic development corporation (EDC) during then- Mayor Cory Booker’s administration. Most recently as the EDC’s Vice President of Strategy, Administration and Policy, she created strategies and initiatives to catalyze economic growth and support financial empowerment, workforce development and entrepreneurship programs across the City and region. Ms. Corea’s previous experience includes serving as a Fellow & Special Assistant for the Deputy Commissioner of the New York City (NYC) Department of Homeless Services and assisting the offices of two former United States Senators as well as the NYC Center for Economic Opportunity. She holds a Juris Doctor degree from Rutgers Law School, a Master of Public Administration degree from Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston College.
