Tina Corea serves as the Northeast Regional Program Officer at Asset Funders Network (AFN). In this role, she supports Leah Mayor in developing New York City, Northern New Jersey, and Connecticut regional groups as well as developing content to close the racial wealth gap in the region and working nationally to promote entrepreneurship and employee ownership.

Previously, Tina was a Senior Vice President of Social Finance at Citi with a focus on national partnerships. She enabled incubation support for a $58 million fund tackling the racial wealth gap, launched a community development venture capital network, and facilitated seed capital for employee ownership initiatives. Tina has served as Vice President for Strategy and Policy at the City of Newark’s primary economic development organization and a Fellow for theNew York City Department of Homeless Services and assisted the Mayor’s Center for Economic Opportunity and two U.S. Senate offices.

Tina holds a J.D. from Rutgers Law School, M.P.A. from Columbia University and B.A. from Boston College. She was an Adjunct Assistant Professor at New York University and advisory or board member for several organizations such as the Robin Hood Foundation and a statewide nonprofit microlender. She currently resides in New Jersey.
