Tate Wilson is the CEO of the Kemmons Wilson Family Foundation. Tate assumed the position of CEO following a decade of board service at the organization. Before joining the Foundation, she owned and managed an event planning firm, Eliza Tate Events, that focused on private and non-profit event planning.
Tate attended the University of Virginia as an Echols Scholar and graduated in 2006 with a BS in Religious Studies. Tate was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee and is proud to call Memphis home today. She is married to D. Webb Wilson, and they have four sons.
Tate serves on the board of Teach for America – Memphis, Memphis Delta Preparatory Charter School, Tennessee Career Academy, Baptist Women’s and Children’s Hospital, University of Tennessee’s Population Health Consortium, and The Brooks Museum of Art.
