Simon Lopez serves as the New Mexico Program Officer for Asset Funders Network (AFN). In that role, he supports the regional AFN efforts to develop aligned and collaborative efforts that increase investment impact in the region.
Prior to AFN, Simon was a Program Officer with the W.K. Kellogg Foundation New Mexico team, focusing on employment equity and family economic security grants and partnerships. Simon has also served as the Chief Impact Officer for Goodwill of Southern California, Senior Director of Workforce and Leadership Development at the National Council of La Raza (now UnidosUS), and as an Employment Division Manager with Youth Development, Inc.
Simon holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of New Mexico. He lives in Albuquerque, NM with his 16-year-old son, Maximiliano.
