Sara Manning serves as Head of Operations at Truist Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Truist Financial Corporation, and has oversight over the financials, investments and special programs such as the teammate relief fund, scholarship program, matching gifts, disaster relief and recovery, and the newly created Truist Foundation Inspire Awards. She brings 18 years of experience working with the management of private foundations, donor advised funds and other charitable strategies.
Most recently Sara served as a Senior Philanthropic Specialist in the Wells Fargo Philanthropic Services group for four years, and prior to that she was with SunTrust Foundations and Endowments Specialty Practice for over 10 years. Sara holds a bachelor’s degree from Clemson University and earned her Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy designation from the American College.
