Originally from South Texas, Sade currently serves as the Executive Assistant to the Executive and
Deputy Directors of Asset Funders Network. Prior to joining AFN, Sade utilized her administrative
skills to support leadership in the non-profit, start-up, and higher education industries.

Sade has a strong-held passion for supporting others and enjoys working in roles focused on
uplifting marginalized communities. She has worked alongside the Resource Development Team at
the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Austin Area and served as Administrative Director of ICUSP, a small
educational non-profit operating in Central Texas. Both organizations focus on the academic
success and creation of opportunities for children – a cause Sade holds near and dear to her heart.

Sade also holds a Producer credit for BlackademicsTV, a KLRU-TV Austin PBS television show
dedicated to providing easy access to Black Studies scholarship to broad popular audiences. She
brings her skills and experiences working at the University of Texas, University of Florida, and
several Austin area organizations to support the Asset Funders Network as they confront inequities in advancing economic opportunity.

When Sade isn’t working, she enjoys spending her time cooking great food, hanging with her friends, and boxing – for fun, not fights.
