Robbie Doran is a Program Officer with Vanguard, managing an evolving strategy that is meant to deepen community impact and respond to needs and challenges in Vanguard’s four geographic areas in the United States.
Robbie Doran is a community affairs professional with 18+ years of experience in marketing, community relations, change and project management, and communications. She has successfully implemented philanthropic and marketing strategies that were designed to foster brand awareness and loyalty.
Prior to joining Vanguard, Robbie was Manager of Community Engagement at Novant Health. Where she oversaw the charitable contribution strategy for the Greater Charlotte Market as well as nonprofit partnerships, team member volunteerism, board membership strategies, and marketing support for the large hospital facilities in the area. She prided herself on bringing remarkable patient experiences to the local communities outside of the walls of the hospitals. She managed evidence-based programming in the community addressing social determinants of health, confronting deep-rooted inequities, and improving health outcomes, financial outcomes, and upward mobility.
Prior to joining Novant Health, Robbie worked at the Duke Energy Foundation for ten years, where she managed grant funding to nonprofit partners, matching gifts, volunteerism, board membership programs and Duke Energy signature programs. She also has extensive experience in managing a sports marketing program for this Fortune 500 Company.
Robbie received her undergraduate degree from UNC Charlotte and her MBA from The Citadel.
