Randy Lopez currently serves as President & CEO for the Wyandotte Health Foundation in Kansas City, KS. Along with the Board, he is responsible for guiding the Foundation’s grantmaking activities and operations to help improve the health of Wyandotte County residents.
In 2019, Randy became the first Latino to be elected to the Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools Board of Education and currently serves as the President of the Board of Education. Lopez also serves on the Boards of the Greater Kansas City Hispanic Development Fund, Central Avenue Betterment Association, and LISC Greater Kansas City.
Randy was named the 2018 NFL & Kansas City Chiefs Hispanic Heritage Leadership Award and in April of 2019 was presented the Champion of Character certificate by the Office of the Governor’s Kansas Hispanic and Latino American Affairs Commission.
Lopez was born and raised in Kansas City, KS, and earned his undergraduate degree from Rockhurst University. Later, Randy was selected into the National Urban Fellows Program where he received a Master of Public Administration from the Baruch College, including time as a fellow with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
