Lena Hayes joined the Baptist Health Foundation in December of 2019 to oversee its operation as the Chief Development Officer. She leads her team and collaborates with the Foundation Board of Trustees to cultivate purposeful, philanthropic partnerships and advance the healing ministry of Baptist Health to create a healthier community for all Arkansans. Baptist Health is Arkansas’ most comprehensive healthcare organization with 11 hospitals, including Baptist Health Rehabilitation Institute and Baptist Health Heart Institute, as well as a senior living community, urgent care centers, and clinics. Baptist Health encompasses a college dedicated to building a strong, diverse healthcare workforce and a Community Outreach Program committed to serving Arkansas’ vulnerable populations.
Lena previously served as Deputy Executive Director for the Clinton Foundation for 15 years. In this role, she was responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans and policies for the Clinton Presidential Center; leading a team of staff and volunteers; and cultivating partnerships and donor relationships.
Lena earned her bachelor of arts degree in communications from Henderson State University. She resides in Little Rock and is a proud parent of her son, Luke.
