Leila Batmanghelidj is a Senior Program Manager on the Community Health team at Kaiser Permanente Washington. She leads the Washington market’s economic opportunity strategy and manages engagements and collaborations with community partners to advance diverse business growth, financial health, and equitable career pathways for underinvested communities. Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente, Leila managed workforce development and health career, experiential learning programs for COPE Health Solutions. She also led the US office of Survival International, an international indigenous rights advocacy organization. Leila earned a BA in Spanish Studies and International Relations at American University and a MSW with a focus on Management and Planning from UC Berkeley. She currently resides in Seattle where she enjoys cooking with harvests from her own garden and outdoor adventures with her 4 and 2 year old.
