In her role as Lead Specialist on the Philanthropy & Community Impact team, Lauren is responsible for representing Wells Fargo in community and economic development activities, establishing and maintaining relationships with community organizations, creating processes that help increase business opportunities in low-to-moderate communities and serving as the primary contact for all community relations matters across the states of Idaho and New Mexico.
Before joining the Wells Fargo team in 2019, Lauren spent her career working in the nonprofit industry. Most recently, she worked as the Senior Director for NeighborWorks America’s Western Region where she supported community development activities and relationships across a portfolio of 69 nonprofit organizations in the 14 western-most states. Her professional career has also included work in historic preservation and higher education finance and philanthropy. She earned her Master’s degree in Public Affairs from Indiana University and her Bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University.
Since moving to Colorado in 2010, Lauren has served on several nonprofit boards and committees including the Denver Office of Strategic Partnerships, Spark the Change Colorado, Mile High Connects, BankOn Denver, Enterprise Community Partners, and she currently serves as Vice President on the board for Community Resources and Housing Development Corporation (CRHDC). She has participated as a judge in small business competitions with Rocky Mountain Micro Finance Institute (RMMFI) and Mi Casa Resource Center. She is also a member of the 2021 class of Leadership Denver. Lauren currently lives in Arvada with her husband Brent, son Brookston, daughter Carter, and dog Weezy. They love spending time outdoors and enjoying the natural beauty Colorado has to offer all year long.
