LaToya joined the United Way SELA team in 2021 as a Financial Capability Specialist/Workforce Development Specialist. She works on the Community Impact team assisting clients with financial coaching services, workforce development cohorts, and financial literacy workshops. LaToya holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and is a certified Financial Counselor. Before joining the United Way SELA team LaToya worked in the banking industry for 20 years. LaToya believes financial literacy is important because it equips us with the tools, knowledge, and skills needed to manage money effectively.
