Kim is a senior advisor for the Home Region Program. Before joining the foundation, he was the director of external relations and economic development and director of education and workforce for the Northwest Arkansas Council. Kim was appointed to serve on the Arkansas’ State Board of Education by former Gov. Mike Beebe and concluded that service in 2015. Kim has also worked as the Director of Education at Ozark Guidance as well as guidance counselor and teacher at schools in Houston and New York.

Kim holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science, a Master of Education from the University of Saint Thomas and a certification in education leadership from Manhattan College.
