Kelsey drives Seattle Foundation’s policy-focused investments in support of systemic change and oversees Seattle  Foundation’s approach to leveraging our voice and resources in service of civic action.

Kelsey is passionate about building healthier, fairer, and more resilient communities and sees collaboration and resource mobilization across sectors as key to winning transformative policy change. Prior to joining Seattle Foundation, Kelsey served as Deputy Director for Transportation Choices Coalition, where she built cross-sector coalitions to win billions in funding for better transit, walking and biking across Washington. Her background includes work in policy and advocacy, nonprofit management, communications, and community journalism. Kelsey has a Master’s in Public Health from the University of Washington, and a Bachelor’s in Cultural and Social Anthropology from Stanford.

Kelsey has been working at Seattle Foundation since 2024.
