Katherine Bryan has worked with The Urban Child Institute (UCI) since 2009, first as a project coordinator through the Department of Preventive Medicine at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and later as a community program development and evaluation consultant.
Prior to her work with UCI, Katherine coordinated public health research projects including: Availability of Hepatitis B Vaccine for High-Risk Adolescents (University of Rochester), and The Evaluation of Fetal and Infant Mortality Review (FIMR) Programs Nationwide (Johns Hopkins University). A parent of three children with hearing loss, Katherine also worked as a regional parent coordinator for Colorado Families for Hands & Voices.
Katherine serves on the Memphis Delta Local Interagency Coordinating Council and is a member of the Early Success Coalition, the Nurturing Parenting Collaborative, and the Shelby County Early Childhood Education Plan Steering Committee. Katherine has a MSSW from the University of Tennessee and a BA in German from Rhodes College.
