M. Jordan Scott is an entrepreneur, philanthropist, real-estate developer, and investor in
Austin, TX. He is President of 512 Asset Management, a real-estate focused family
office and founder of Industry ATX, an affordable-housing development firm. He
previously worked as Senior VP of Tracking at Control Risks, a London-based global
security consultancy. He joined the company via an acquisition of Flightlock, Inc., a
SaaS startup he co-founded. Earlier in his career, Jordan worked with Lonestar Capital
Management, an Austin-based hedge fund, and worked for his grandfather, George
Kozmetzky, on economic development in the Rio Grande Valley.

Jordan formerly served on the board of the RGK Foundation and is passionate about
housing for at-risk families and young adults. He currently serves on the board of
Reissa Foundation and on the finance committee for Upbring, Inc. Jordan graduated
summa cum laude from Colorado College with a bachelor’s degree in Economics. He
earned his master’s degree in Human Dimensions of Organizations from University of
Texas at Austin, fulfilling his lifelong dream to become a Longhorn. He enjoys camping
with the Scouts, wake surfing, and skiing with his three sons and wife Laila.
