Jonathan Brack serves as the Sacramento Program Officer at Asset Funders Network (AFN). In this role, he engages grantmakers, financial institutions, and key stakeholders to develop a regional approach for asset building reflecting the local context in Sacramento, California.

Before AFN, Jonathan has supported the learning, development, and capacity-building of funders, nonprofit organizations, and the communities they serve. He brings extensive nonprofit experience designing and delivering education, leadership development, and career pathway programs for marginalized communities. More recently in philanthropy, Jonathan worked on capacity-building efforts for grantees at Tipping Point Community in the San Francisco Bay Area and he directed the fiscal sponsorship program at the Foundation for California Community Colleges. He currently consults with nonprofits and funders on strategic partnerships, capacity building, program development and implementation.

Jonathan received a Bachelor’s of Arts in History from the University of California, Berkeley. He currently lives in Elk Grove, California, with his wife Emmile and two children, Layla and Marcus.
