Jerome E. Walker is committed to breaking the cycle of intergenerational poverty by providing access to socioeconomic opportunities. With his professional experience in higher education, city government, and workforce development, he remains dedicated to serving underserved and under-resourced communities. Currently, he supports Year Up’s national scalable solutions team, where he is responsible for creating scalable partnerships with ecosystems that help bridge the opportunity gap. Jerome is also a faculty instructor at the Joyce K. Salzburg Center for Professional Development at Temple University College of Liberal Arts. He recognizes that the pandemic has transformed the way we work, live, and pursue careers, and believes that collaborating on a national level can increase the impact for both opportunity youth and opportunity talent.
