As Community Development Officer for Texas Capital, Gloria Delgado represents the bank in the San Antonio and Austin communities where she manages corporate social responsibility programs, including charitable giving, community investments and employee engagement. Prior to joining Texas Capital, Ms. Delgado worked in the nonprofit sector where she led an education and workforce initiative at the San Antonio Chamber and served as the President & CEO of the Consumer Credit Counseling Service. She also served as the President of the Catholic Community Foundation, launching the new foundation and where her leadership experience resulted in the new foundation receiving an “unqualified opinion” or clean audit for their first two years in operation.

Prior to moving into the nonprofit sector, Ms. Delgado had an impressive career with AT&T where she served as President of the AT&T Foundation. During her tenure, she handled three corporate foundation mergers in three years. Following a successful restructuring of the Foundation, she was promoted and transferred to Washington, D.C. where she cultivated strategic alliances with national organizations. Ms. Delgado also served as Vice President of the company’s employee/retiree volunteer organization. With a staff of 10 managers across the country, she strategically guided corporate volunteer projects to align with and support the company’s corporate social responsibility initiatives.

Working her way through college as a newspaper reporter, Ms. Delgado earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Trinity University. She has served on numerous nonprofit boards and received many awards for community service.
