Elly Thompson joined the Annie E. Casey Foundation in 2024 as a Program Associate working within the Center for Economic Opportunity on the Family and Youth Financial Stability portfolio. Her role is focused on supporting strategic investments in programs, research, and advocacy that reduce burdensome debt, advance early wealth building pathways, and prioritize financial stability and well-being for youth and young adults. Elly holds a bachelor’s degree in public policy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Public Policy from the Duke University Sanford School.
