Donna Nash joined the Thomas W. Briggs Foundation in 2020, as Executive Director building on the legacy of equitable impact funding that welcomes all Memphians. In Memphis, Donna worked for Advance Memphis leading grants, communication, strategy work including telling its complex story consistently to all audiences and restructuring their volunteer program; and for Forrest Spence Fund, focusing on efficient infrastructure development, volunteer management, and programming. She operates in the spaces of equity advocacy, strategy, systems and staff development. She holds bachelor’s degrees in both Business Administration and Accounting from the University of Kansas. Donna earned her MBA from Christian Brothers University.
After working in the nonprofit sector for over thirty years as a volunteer, board member, advocate and staff member, she believes Memphis’ largest assets are the diverse people who call it home and the vibrant nonprofit organizations working to achieve the potential Memphis holds.
Donna is married to Steve. They are so thankful for their 4 children, son-in-law and granddaughter.
