Crystal is the Community Relations Lead at Brighthouse Financial and is responsible for leading community relations initiatives and volunteer programming. She also serves as Vice-President of the Brighthouse Financial Foundation, where she manages the foundation operations.

Previously, Crystal was the Assistant Director of Diversity, Inclusion and Community Engagement at Queens University of Charlotte. In this role, she was responsible for community engagement and diversity programs. Prior to Queens, Crystal served as the Manager of Sports Partnerships for Novant Health where she oversaw the hospital’s partnership with the NBA Charlotte Hornets, AHL Charlotte Checkers and other sports entities.

Prior to assuming her role at Novant Health, Crystal spent twelve seasons working in community relations for the NFL Carolina Panthers. She played an integral role in developing the team’s community relations programs and initiatives.

Crystal currently serves on the Board of Directors for Right Moves for Youth. A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Asheville with a B.S. in Management and the University of South Carolina with a B.S. in Sport Administration, Crystal earned her Master’s in Recreation, Sports and Tourism from the University of Illinois. She completed the Wake Forest University Non- profit Certificate program; Special Events & Meeting Planning certificate program at UNC-Charlotte; and the NFL Management program at Stanford University. Currently residing in Charlotte, NC, Crystal enjoys walking, reading and spending time with her family.
