Debbie Shen is the Controller for Asset Funders Network (AFN). In this role, Debbie manages fiscal operations and budgeting for the organization.
Before AFN, Debbie served as the Financial Controller and Chief Financial Officer at Safe & Sound, where she oversaw the financial, accounting, and human resources operations and supported the organization’s risk management and compliance processes. She previously worked in Washington, D.C. as a public accountant at KPMG LLP, specializing in the nonprofit practice, and as a program coordinator at Community Tax Aid.
Debbie graduated from Trinity University with a Master of Science in Accountancy and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant. She resides in Berkeley, California.
