Christi Baker is a Program Officer with Asset Funders Network. After founding Chrysalis Consulting Group in 1999, Christi Baker has served as the principal for the company, which facilitates transformation by providing coaching, training, curriculum development, technical assistance, writing, business planning, facilitation and specialized research services to individuals and organizations working toward greater well-being. Clients have included local community-based organizations, national nonprofit intermediaries and individuals. With expertise in applied research, qualitative methods, facilitation, program design, coaching and financial health, Christi has authored various publications and training manuals and has facilitated numerous trainings, meetings and planning processes.

In addition to consulting, she served as asset building program manager for Mission Economic Development Agency (MEDA), executive director for HomeownershipSF and deputy director for San Diego Neighborhood Housing Services (now Community HousingWorks), and assisted coordinating NeighborWorks® America’s Campaign for Home Ownership. Christi has 22 years of experience in the community development field through her consulting practice and employment. She serves on the national advisory council for the NeighborWorks Center for Homeownership Education and Counseling (NCHEC). She has also been a faculty member of the NeighborWorks® Training Institutes since 1996. Christi holds a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University in anthropology and archaeology. She is a certified coach from the Coaches Training Institute and International Coach Federation.
