Chey Jeffries serves as the Membership & Conference Administrative Coordinator at Asset Funders Network (AFN). In this role, they provide administrative support to the membership team while also providing event planning and logistical support for AFN’s biennial National Grantmaker Conference.
Prior to AFN, Chey worked primarily in the nonprofit and philanthropic sector, supporting primarily arts focused organizations including work as a Fellow for Cuyahoga Arts and Culture, a county wide grantmaking entity in Northeast Ohio, to support research and engagement around racial equity in funding requirements and criteria.
Chey received a Bachelor’s degree from Eastern Michigan University in Arts Management and a Master’s degree in American Culture Studies and graduate certificate in Women’s Gender and Sexuality Studies from Bowling Green State University. They currently reside in Cleveland, OH.
