Charie Williams serves as the Administrative & Events Coordinator for Asset Funders Network (AFN), supporting the Texas regions (Central Texas, North Texas, San Antonio Area). In this role, Charie provides essential administrative, scheduling, and event coordination support to ensure the success of AFN’s initiatives across the state.
Prior to joining AFN, Charie spent six years in the nonprofit sector, where she developed impactful programs, and co-organized fundraising & events while recruiting and managing a professional women’s group dedicated to helping marginalized women gain and retain employment. As a military spouse, she was appointed by the Command Master Chief to serve as the U.S. Navy Command Ombudsman for the USS Mitscher. In this role, Charie acted as the primary liaison between the command and the families of over 300 sailors, providing guidance, resources, and support to address family concerns, and navigate military life. Additionally, Charie owned and operated an art studio, gallery, and event venue that spearheaded hurricane relief efforts, supported local artists in selling their work, and provided free art education for disadvantaged youth.
Charie studied graphic design at The Art Institute of Houston. Originally from Denver, CO, she and her family now call Katy, TX home.
