Angela Conner is currently Senior Vice President of Community Development at Truist Bank for the State of Tennessee and Alabama Regions. She is a graduate of the University of Central Florida where she received a BA in Public Administration with a concentration in Human Resources.
Angela has over 23 years’ experience in the Financial Services industry. She has also held roles in Human Resources as a generalist with Truist. With more than 23 years of banking experience, she held previous Human Resources leadership roles in the hospitality and tourism industry.
She is responsible for leading community reinvestment and development programs across the regions she supports to include specific programs and initiatives focused on lending, affordable housing, small business, and community development outreach. Passionate about serving her community she currently serves as a board member for Bright Bridge CDC in Chattanooga, Nashville Business Incubator Center, United Way of Greater Knoxville, and the Tennessee Affordable Housing Coalition. She also serves on various advisory committees providing guidance and strategic leadership impacting nonprofit agencies and their communities across the State of Tennessee.
