Alfred Breuer leads outreach efforts for the San Antonio and Corpus Christi regions for the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, San Antonio Branch. In his role, he engages with stakeholders to discuss current economic challenges and opportunities in the community and increase awareness of the mission of the Federal Reserve. He is also tasked with identifying emerging economic challenges and opportunities and gathering information to support monetary policymaking and strategic planning efforts.

Prior to joining the Federal Reserve Bank, Alfred worked for H+K Strategies, a global top 10 public relations firm, and served as legislative director for a Texas State Representative. In addition, he served as Deputy Director for International Affairs for an agricultural trade association in Washington, DC where he focused on the organization’s trade policy program. Throughout his career he has worked closely with a wide range of stakeholders, including Fortune 500 companies, national trade associations and U.S. and foreign public officials to build strong mutually beneficial relationships.

He holds an MA in international commerce and policy from George Mason University and an MBA from the Instituto Panamericano de Alta Dirección de Empresa (IPADE) in Mexico City.
