Abigail Sheridan serves as the Memphis Program Officer for Asset Funders Network. She has nearly two decades of nonprofit experience in organizational leadership, operations, financial, and program management. In her role, Abby coordinates with local funders to define and align issues of common interest, and to advance economic equity and mobility in the Greater Memphis area.
Prior to joining AFN, Abby launched a consulting business to provide operations, financial, HR, grant writing, and project management support to mission-driven companies. Before venturing out on her own, Abby was the Vice President/COO for the Memphis Medical District Collaborative (MMDC), and spent over a decade at the Congress for the New Urbanism (CNU), serving as the Director of Administration and Finance, and Deputy Director. It was during her time at CNU that Abby developed a true passion for cities, public transportation, and equitable development.
Abby holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Bucknell University, as well as a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the University of Illinois, Chicago and Certificates in Values-Centered Leadership I & II from DePaul University. Abby is a 2023 graduate of the Leadership Memphis Executive Program and currently serves as Board Member and Secretary for Girls Inc. of Memphis. She resides in Memphis, TN.
