UADA & Bank On Arkansas+ Hempstead County Community Partner Meeting
The University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture Cooperative Extension Service in partnership with Bank On Arkansas+ (BOA+) invites you to join us for a discussion to help form a collective vision for financial health in the state of Arkansas.
BOA+ looks to engage local community-based organizations and financial institutions interested in helping individuals build financial strength through banking as an on-ramp toward wealth-building. We seek local partners who understand the importance of ensuring “safe” accounts exist so that unbanked or underbanked individuals and families can build a meaningful connection to mainstream financial services.
Join us on April 19th, 2023 at 11:00 AM in Hempstead Hall located at 2500 South Main Street in Hope, AR for a community conversation to discuss the first-ever Bank On Arkansas+ initiative. The key to meeting the goal of Bank On Arkansas+ is partnerships among municipal officials; city, state, and federal government agencies; financial institutions; and community organizations that commit to improve the financial stability of unbanked and underbanked residents across Arkansas.
When:
- April 19, 2023 in Hope, AR (Hempstead Hall – Blevins Suite – 2500 South Main Street, Hope AR 71801)
- 11:00 AM (doors open at 10:30 AM) and adjourn at 12:00 PM
Who: Nonprofits, financial institutions, municipal and local/governmental leaders and other community partners are welcome.
