The Arkansas Asset Funders Network (AR AFN), in collaboration with the Center for Social Development at Washington University in St. Louis and the Aspen Institute Financial Security Program, held the Savings, Wealth, & Opportunity Summit—a statewide gathering focused on advancing financial security in Arkansas.

The event, for funders, practitioners, and policymakers, spotlighted the current landscape of savings and wealth-building across the state, with a special focus on strategies that strengthen financial health and opportunity for ALICE households (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed). Participants explored ways to reduce barriers to savings, support equitable asset growth, and shape policy solutions that help Arkansas families build lasting wealth.
