Sarah Howard serves as the Fiscal Systems Manager for Asset Funders Network (AFN). In this role, she provides bookkeeping and fiscal operations support.
Sarah has contributed to the ongoing success of local, state, and national mission-focused nonprofits for over a decade. Most recently as the Philanthropic Services and Community Engagement Director for the California Fire Foundation, where she developed and currently manages various grantmaking initiatives. Previously, Sarah served as the Executive Fundraising Coordinator for MomsRising.org, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to tackling the most critical issues facing women, mothers, and families in our nation. Sarah also served as a Medic in the United States Army and, in 2015, was awarded the JPMorgan Chase Veterans Onward to Opportunity Scholarship.
Sarah’s undergraduate studies at Middlebury Institute of International Studies focused on gender justice, nonprofit management, and organizational policy development. She resides in California.
