Robin Brulé is Senior Vice President of Community Relations at Nusenda Credit Union and an executive on loan to Albuquerque Mayor Tim Keller for City Alive, a Living Cities’ Integration Initiative site, and serves on the New Mexico AFN Steering Committee.

Ms. Brulé has a proven track record of bringing innovations to scale in order to strengthen children, families, and communities. At Nusenda since 2011, she oversees community relations and membership development. In 2014, she created the Nusenda Foundation as its corporate citizenship arm and serves as Executive Director. Ms. Brulé led Nusenda’s certification as a Community Development Financial Institution in 2017, one of only six credit unions in New Mexico to be both a certified CDFI and designated as low-income-serving by the NCUA. Ms. Brulé’s talent for ideation also spurred a new microloan that is delivered via community partnerships instead of financial institutions or lenders. At City Alive since 2014, Ms. Brulé is Chief Strategist, where she directs a collective impact initiative among cross-sector partners to advance equitable economic mobility for people on the periphery of mainstream systems.

Ms. Brulé is an Annie E. Casey Children & Families Fellow (2008), National Association of Federal Credit Unions “Professional of the Year” (2014), and a Presidio Cross-Sector Leadership Fellow (2015).
