Robbye Good is Vice President of Investor Relations at HOPE (Hope Credit Union, Hope Enterprise Corporation and Hope Policy Institute). Since 1994, HOPE has pursued a mission of improving lives, building assets and strengthening communities in five Deep South states – Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee – by providing affordable financial services and education; shaping practices, policies and systems; and by engaging in strategic partnerships that strengthen and leverage additional resources. Over its 25 year history, HOPE has generated more than $2.5 billion in financing and related services to benefit more than one million Deep South residents. Robbye’s role at HOPE is to raise and steward the capital needed to sustain and grow HOPE’s impact.
Before joining HOPE, Robbye was Director of Talent Retention Initiatives at the New Memphis Institute, a nonprofit with a mission to forge a more prosperous and vital Memphis, TN by attracting, developing, activating and retaining talent. She led a comprehensive strategy for activating and committing professionals to the continuous improvement of the city. Her responsibilities entailed cultivating partners and funders; building and managing a high-performing team; and developing, promoting and evaluating new and existing programs. Robbye’s work at New Memphis, earlier organizations and now at HOPE comprise a career dedicated to empowering others to pursue a brighter future for themselves and this world.
Robbye earned a Bachelor’s degree at the University of Southern California and a Master’s degree at Vanderbilt University. She has lived in ten different cities, both in the US and abroad, and has loved each of them for their unique assets and perspectives on the world. This being said, she is glad to be back in the South where she was born and feels most at home.
