In his role as Vice President and Relationship Manager for the JPMorgan Chase Foundation, Owen Washburn works with community partners to promote economic opportunity in Illinois and Indiana. Owen directs grantmaking activities to promote workforce readiness, small business expansion, neighborhood revitalization, and financial health. Owen brings over eight years of experience in economic and workforce development to his current role. Prior to joining JPMorgan Chase in 2016, he designed and implemented regional and neighborhood economic development strategies and initiatives at Civic Consulting Alliance (Chicago), The Brookings Institution Metropolitan Policy Program (Washington, DC), and as an independent consultant for nonprofits in cities across the country.
