Nancy joined Meyer in 2016. For more than 16 years, Nancy has contributed to the nonprofit sector in various capacities including strategist, developer, director, adviser, consultant and board member. As an organizational development consultant she has supported organizations of all sizes, specializing in intercultural capacity building and balancing the art and science of designing tailored change strategies. Throughout her career, Nancy has developed and managed multiple programs for various audiences including youths, community leaders and executive level professionals. Most recently, as program director at Latino Network and Adelante Mujeres, she developed, established and expanded sustainable culturally specific youth programs with projected long-term community impact.

Nancy holds a Master of Arts in Leadership and Organizational Development from Saybrook University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Administration of Justice from Portland State University. She also studied at Universidad Latina de América in Morelia, Mexico, and received political training at Harvard University.

She serves on the board of directors of Oregon NOW, the state chapter of the National Organization for Women, and also serves as vice president of the Nonprofit Association of Oregon, whose mission is to strengthen the collective voice, leadership and capacity of nonprofits to enrich the lives of all Oregonians.

Attuned to people’s ability to envision solutions where challenges exist, Nancy’s outlook, as well as her commitment to social justice, was shaped by her binational experience. Born and raised in Mexico, she has called Oregon home for more than 20 years. For Nancy, nonprofits have been places to build community and vehicles for supporting social justice. In joining Meyer at the moment it intentionally focuses on equity, Nancy relishes the opportunity to continue supporting creatives, risk-takers, innovators, community builders and the organizations that engage them.
