Julie Hodgson serves as the Director of Financial Well-Being Design within the Community Impact and Investment team at Capital One. In this role, she supports the development and implementation of the company’s national philanthropic strategy to empower individuals to save money, build credit, manage debt, and gain access to banking products. Julie also serves as a thought partner to the lines of business sharing financial inclusion best practices.

Previously, Julie served as a Senior Program Officer at the Citi Foundation where she led strategy and investments for the Financial Capability Portfolio in the U.S., collaborating with nonprofit organizations to develop financial capability and asset building programs. Julie joined Citi in 2011 and served in a variety of roles that supported the Citi Foundation’s work to promote economic progress and improve the lives of people in low-income communities around the world.

Julie holds a Master of Public Administration and Nonprofit Management from Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service at New York University.
