Julie Hodgson is a Senior Program Officer at the Citi Foundation and leads the strategy and investments for the Financial Capability portfolio in the U.S. She collaborates with national financial capability and asset building organizations to develop programs that help individuals and families develop the skills they need to make informed financial decisions, access safe and appropriate financial products, and build and preserve assets.
Since joining the Citi Foundation in 2011, Julie has held various positions including the coordination of the Foundation’s U.S. local grant program. In this role, Julie worked closely with Community Relations colleagues to design and implement impactful strategies that address the needs of low- and moderate-income communities across Citi’s U.S. footprint. Previously, Julie focused on governance and board meeting management as well as implementing high visibility volunteer programs.
Prior to joining Citi, Julie coordinated fundraising and volunteerism efforts for nonprofit organizations including the New York City Coalition Against Hunger and Big Brothers Big Sister of Massachusetts Bay. Julie holds a Master of Public Administration and Nonprofit Management from the Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service at New York University. Julie serves on the Asset Funders Network board of directors.
