Jordana Barton is the vice president of community investment at Methodist Healthcare Ministries, where she oversees the organization’s strategic grant-making and grant-seeking processes. Her leadership is critical in ensuring Methodist Healthcare Ministries’ philanthropic practices support its commitment to health equity—reducing the inequities inherent across South Texas so that the least served have greater opportunities to reach their full health and potential. She brings extensive knowledge of broadband and digital inclusion issues to help address the needs of under-served communities, which can enable them to achieve positive health outcomes. Prior to joining Methodist Healthcare Ministries, she was Senior Advisor for the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas – San Antonio Branch. Jordana grew up in the rural South Texas border community of Benavides. She holds an M.P.A. from Harvard University, John F. Kennedy School of Government.
