Hayat Adem is a Senior Manager on the Corporate Citizenship team at TD Bank, where she leads strategy and execution across key social impact initiatives aligned with the bank’s business priorities. With more than a decade of experience spanning regulatory stress testing, capital planning, ESG program delivery, and corporate citizenship strategy, Hayat brings a strong track record of driving measurable impact while strengthening organizational effectiveness.
In her current role, Hayat manages grantmaking and strategic partnerships within the Financial Security portfolio. She advises senior leaders, connects philanthropic investments to business strategy, and serves as a subject matter expert on financial security and community impact. Her work focuses on advancing affordable housing, income stability, financial literacy, and early leaning across the communities TD serves.
Prior to joining Corporate Citizenship, Hayat held a leadership role in Finance, where she led regulatory stress testing and governance initiatives supporting CCAR/DFAST submissions. In U.S. ESG, she drove program delivery, overseeing governance processes and cross-functional coordination. Across both roles, she led complex initiatives, implemented process improvements and technology solutions, and delivered operational efficiencies that strengthened risk management and improved organizational performance. Hayat is known for building trusted partnerships across nonprofit, corporate, and executive stakeholders, translating complex strategies into actionable outcomes. Outside of work, she serves on the Board of the Arthur M. Blank Family Youth YMCA, supporting youth development and community advancement initiatives.
