Dolores E. Roybal, PhD, MSW, is the Executive Director of Con Alma Health Foundation, the largest foundation in New Mexico dedicated solely to health. A native New Mexican, Roybal has over 35 years of experience in nonprofit and philanthropy work. She currently serves as a board member of Border Philanthropy Partnership (BPP), a binational organization. Formerly, she served as a board member and chair of the New Mexico Association of Grantmakers (NMAG), Grantmakers In Health (GIH), and Hispanics in Philanthropy (HIP), among others. Prior positions include Program Director at the Santa Fe Community Foundation, Director of Graduate and External Programs at the College of Santa Fe, and Graduate Social Work Coordinator and faculty at New Mexico Highlands University. She has taught both graduate and undergraduate courses including Financial Management, Grant Writing, Research Methods, and Policy, Planning and Administration. She has a Master’s in Social Work (MSW) with a concentration in Community Services and Social Planning, and a PhD in Organizational Behavior and Development with a focus on Nonprofit Management, Philanthropy and the Nonprofit Sector.
