Delores Hurst is Director of Community Impact, Income Stability for Capital Area United Way. In this role she manages the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, Co-Chair’s Bank On Baton Rouge, and oversees CAUW’s financial literacy education initiatives. With over 5 years of experience in the non-profit field, Ms. Hurst’s experience and knowledge prove valuable to CAUW and VITA. She previously acted as Executive Director of HOPE Ministry of Pointe Coupee, a human services organization providing basic needs services and financial education to that parish.
