Christina is the Chief Fiscal Officer for the Asset Funders Network. She manages the financial reporting, analysis and budgeting for the Asset Funders Network and leads the development and implementation of administrative and financial policies and processes including ongoing grant and contract management. In addition to her role at the Asset Funders Network, Christina is also the current Finance Director of the California Clean Energy Fund, and is a pro-bono risk adviser to the direct micro enterprise lending team at Kiva US.
Christina is passionate about opportunities at the intersection of the traditional finance paradigm of risk and reward and emerging models of financial capital for impact. She co-founded Summit Co-Lab, a consulting collaborative, where she focuses on supporting impact capital owners and seekers to amplify their impact, by conducting research & analysis, setting up budgets and stabilizing operations for her clients.
Prior to her advisory career, Christina gained experience in Finance and Risk Management functions in various roles at Citibank. As a risk manager, she focused on establishing sound quantitative and qualitative methods around reserves, regulatory and risk capital as well as constructive liaisons with US regulatory agencies. As a Finance Manager, she specialized in strengthening financial planning, analysis, and systems capabilities for international portfolio teams.
Christina holds an MA in International Affairs and a dual German-American undergraduate degree encompassing a B.Sc. in Finance and International Business as well as a Diplom-Betriebswirt (FH). Further, she has received advanced training through United Nations Environment Programme in Climate Finance and Environmental and Social Risk Analysis, and has passed the Series 65 Uniform Securities Law Adviser Exam.
