Beth Osborne is a seasoned public affairs, advocacy, and community engagement executive with more than two decades of experience building partnerships and advancing public policy across the government, nonprofit, and private sectors. As Director of Public Affairs and Strategic Community Partnerships at Symetra, she leads the company’s corporate giving strategy through the Symetra Empowers program and oversees key relationships with government, business, and nonprofit stakeholders nationwide.

Beth’s career has focused on bringing diverse partners together to address complex challenges in areas including climate and energy, infrastructure, economic opportunity, education, and gender equity. Her leadership experience includes serving as Deputy State Director of Outreach for a U.S. Senator, Senior Federal Government Relations Manager for the Port of Seattle, and Deputy Chief of Staff for a Member of the U.S. House of Representatives.

A 2023 Leadership Eastside graduate, Beth serves on several nonprofit and civic boards and committees, including the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce, Friends of the Grand Connection, Planned Parenthood Advocates Alliance, and the Asset Funders Network Northwest Steering Committee.

Outside of her professional and civic work, Beth enjoys paddleboarding and spending time on Whidbey Island.
