Virtual Texas Policy Advocacy Summit – Post Lege
The 140 days of the 89th Texas Legislature ended on June 2 with new rules, laws, and regulations ready for the Governor’s desk and some of these are certainly going to impact wealth building issues that Texas AFN members care about. On June 18 at 10 a.m. Central, we are holding a Texas Statewide Policy Summit for AFN members and friends who are interested in Texas politics to bring us all up to date on the outcomes of important legislative actions in housing, tenants’ rights, financial fraud, workforce development, and preemption.
Join AFN, your colleagues from around the state and others who have an interest in Texas’ direction to hear from leading policy advocates about how this Lege session finished and how these issues may impact low- and moderate-income Texans in our communities.
