New Mexico Thriving Families Forum

Establishing a Just and Inclusive Economy for Working Families

August 31 and September 1, 2026
Albuquerque, NM

Join us for New Mexico Thriving Families Forum: Establishing a Just and Inclusive Economy for Working Families, a gathering designed to address intersecting issues surrounding economic security and promote strategies for building a more just and equitable society. The conference will bring together policymakers, academics, advocates, community leaders, and business professionals to share insights, research, and practical solutions for advancing economic justice. This convening is hosted by the New Mexico Asset Funders Network.

Taking place on August 31 and September 1 in Albuquerque, NM, this convening aims to foster dialogue and collaboration on policies and initiatives that empower all New Mexican communities, reduce income disparities, and ensure fair access to resources and opportunities. Participants will explore topics such as living wages, affordable housing, access to capital, equitable healthcare, education access, and workforce development. Equally important, participants will have the opportunity to address specific issues with their peers, as well as gain a deeper understanding of how a range of issues and policies are aligned to establish a comprehensive, inclusive economic security agenda.

The New Mexico Thriving Families Forum will include keynote speeches from thought leaders, panel discussions, interactive workshops, and networking sessions. Attendees will engage in robust discussions, share best practices, and form partnerships aimed at driving meaningful change in their communities and beyond.

The conference is open to anyone interested in economic justice, including government officials, nonprofit leaders, philanthropy, business leaders, researchers, entrepreneurs, and members of the public passionate about creating a fairer economic system.
