Indiana: Addressing Economic Security During the Opioid Crisis: the Health & Financial Security Connection

While nearly every community in the US struggles to address the tragic consequences of addiction, the Indiana philanthropic community has paid special attention to addressing the opioid crisis in its communities. How can funders who do not necessarily identify as health funders invest in solutions to the opioid crisis? How does addiction impact economic security and mobility, and how can Indiana funders of all types become a part of the solution?

Leading researchers, practitioners, and policymakers discussed the intersection of economic security and addiction in a learning forum for the Indiana philanthropic community.
