In Conversation: Dr. Darrick Hamilton on Inclusive Economic Rights in California

When Bay Area AFN convened our inaugural Inclusive Economic and Immigrant Rights Summit last November, Dr. Darrick Hamilton reoriented us with his Power, Paradigm, and Political Economy framework and its North Star: our economy should promote human flourishing, innovation, and self-determination in peaceful, sustainable, and tranquil environments. What might this paradigm shift look like in the Bay Area and throughout California, where income and wealth inequality is so extreme? This gathering picks up that thread.

Over an unhurried dinner, we’ll bring together a table of funders for a candid conversation with Dr. Hamilton. This is a chance for those who gathered with us in November—and others engaged in this work—to reconnect and go deeper.
