Beyond the Floodlines: A Three-Part Webinar Series on Funding Asset Preservation

This three-part learning and action series explores how philanthropy can play a pivotal role in helping communities recover and thrive after disasters. Together, we will examine strategies to preserve community assets, prevent predatory displacement, and ensure that recovery efforts evolve into long-term stability and growth.

October 29, 2025 – Session One (Funder-Only): A candid conversation with peers from Asheville and Houston, highlighting hard-won lessons and actionable insights for responding to the recent Texas Hill Country floods. This closed session provides funders a trusted space to connect, share experiences, and learn from others who have navigated disaster recovery investments.

December 10, 2025 – Session Two (Funders + Community Partners): Spotlight on small business recovery and resilience—how funders can protect local enterprises, sustain jobs, and keep wealth rooted in place. Registration opens soon!

January 29, 2026 – Session Three (Funders + Community Partners): Focus on affordable housing, exploring philanthropic strategies to rebuild, preserve affordability, and stabilize families for the long term. Registration opens soon!
