Arkansas Heirs’ Property – Strategies to Preserve Wealth
Join practitioners, advocates, researchers, and funders for a convening on heirs’ property in Arkansas on September 23, 2025 at 9:00 AM CT in Little Rock, hosted by Arkansas AFN. The convening will be followed by a funder-only meeting.
While heirs’ property has likely always existed in Arkansas, in the ten years since Arkansas passed the Uniform Partition of Heirs’ Property Act, the landscape and ecosystem for family property landowners has changed significantly. During this conversation we will:
- Discuss the diversity of ownership and geography of heirs’ property in Arkansas.
- Learn about the potential economic and social impact of more families being empowered to use their properties in the ways they choose.
- Develop strategies for improved research, education and advocacy, and practice related to heirs’ property.
By invitation only- contact Dr. Karama Neal (karama@assetfunders.org) for questions. Invitations are non-transferrable and registration is required.
